As of May 2010, we operate a fleet of 15 bulk carriers, comprising of twelve owned and three chartered-in vessels, with an aggregate fleet capacity of about 1.4 million dwt. Our owned fleet consists of eleven geared and gearless panamaxes/kamsarmaxes and one VLOC. Our young fleet of eleven owned panamax vessels have an average age of about seven years. Our specialized “geared” vessels have on-board cranes, which facilitate loading and unloading in undeveloped ports, such as those in India and Indonesia. We charter our vessels for specific voyages in the spot market and under fixed-term contracts with maturities ranging from 11 months to five years and above.
The vessels owned by us, excluding VLOC, are registered in Singapore and operate under the Singapore flag.
